Where is everyone and why is running popular - it hurts more.

I was thinking the same thing Davy, it's all gone quiet. My first year in the club and it seems everyone hibernates for winter. What about some regular Sunday winter road training runs. Anyone interested?

Cheers,

David

Hi guys, I have been posted missing and I have also been up the hill running. The reason for this is 2fold,

1 I have a new machine, It is not carbon fibre, but flesh and bone! Ruby is her name and she is keeping me well busy when I am not working.
2 Running for me is more do~able as I have to take the dog out for a walk so we run instead, she needs a quick rub with a towel after, not a strip down
and lube.

If there is any cycles organised please post and I may have a small window to join in, remember it needs someone to get the ball rolling or should I say wheel's!
How are you all?
We are good here just busy, hope to see you all sometime soon.

Hi David. I am keen (storms permitting) for some winter miles on the road bike. Maybe as before, meeting somewhere central such as Loch Creran or Connel. Maybe a spin out over the festive period.

A "Christmas Cracker" TT round the Loch might shift the kettle chips and Stella from my waistline!

Totally understand Gavin.

Hill running, you are keen! My cycling isn’t great, but certainly far superior to my running abilities. I’ve no option but to stick with the bike :D

Davy,

For a change I have a few days off work during the festive period. I’m sure I could escape family commitments and the usual garbage on TV for a few hours.

Personally, I would prefer a training type run rather than a TT. A meeting place somewhere central is also fine with me.

Cheers,

David
